Participants will spend three months in the United States, with all expenses covered by the U.S. Government. The program is designed for civil society leaders aged 21-27 who are making positive changes in their communities. It offers a year-long transformational leadership development experience, focusing on collaboration, building connections, and using information effectively to address important issues. Participants will receive a U.S. Visa, Airfare to and from the United States, monthly allowance, and Health insurance support. What are the Eligibility Requirements for Community Engagement Exchange Program 2025 in USA?

The competition for the Community Engagement Exchange Program is based on merit and is open to emerging civil society and community leaders who meet the following criteria:

  1. Age must be between 21-27 years old.
  2. Applicant must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries.
  3. Currently living and working in their home country at the time of application.
  4. Special consideration is given to individuals living in another country with refugee status who are working on behalf of their home community.
  5. At least two years of professional or volunteer experience in community or civil society work.
  6. Actively working on a community engagement project in their home country, either professionally or as a volunteer, with a clear intent to pursue a career supporting civil society.
  7. Able to begin the CEE Program in the United States in 2025.
  8. Able to receive a U.S. J-1 Visa.
  9. Committed to returning to their home country after the program to implement a community-based project.
  10. Applicant must be good in spoken and written English at the time of application.
  11. Semifinalists will need to take a Duolingo English language test.
  12. Finalists should be able to understand and communicate effectively on most topics, including both concrete and abstract ideas, and interact easily with proficient English speakers.

  1. Applicants must submit their applications via the Community Engagement Exchange Online Application platform.
  2. Ensure all required documents and information are provided accurately.
  3. Applications must be submitted before the deadline.
  4. Semi-finalists will be required to submit English Proficiency Reports (such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc.).
