What is Eligibility Criteria for Humanitarian Scholarship in UK?
This scholarship is for displaced international students who want to study for a Master’s degree in Glasgow. To be eligible, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Programme Application: You must have applied for a full-time Master’s (MSc, MRes, or similar) programme at the University of Glasgow for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Personal Circumstances: You must be displaced or at serious risk due to armed conflict. This includes being forced to leave your home country or being internally displaced in the last three years.
- Refugee Status: You must have sought international protection (such as being recognized as a refugee or asylum seeker) outside of the United Kingdom.
- Current Location: You must be living outside the UK at the time of application and hold international student fee status.
- Academic Record: You must have a strong academic history, usually equivalent to a UK First Class undergraduate degree.

- This scholarship is not for PhDs, part-time degrees, diplomas (PGDip), or teacher education (PGDE) programmes.
