What are the eligibility requirements for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Scholarship?

Need to demonstrate English abilities TOEFL, IELTS.
If you have been in school in English, you may not require a test.
Your spoken English will also be tested by interviewers.
You require a degree in Biology with high marks in the science courses.
Lab experience is an asset.
You may apply if you are about to complete your degree, but you must complete it before entering the program.

Required Document for Erasmus Mundus Scholarship

All supporting documents should be in English.
CV or Resume.
Cover letter maximum 1000 words on why you're suitable.
Passport scan.
Copies of degree/diploma and English translations. If you have not yet graduated, include a letter from your university.
Scan your Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum of 180 ECTS credits in Life Sciences. If you are still a student, send transcripts, proof of registration, and estimated graduation date.
List of courses in your Bachelor's degree along with grades and English translations.
Two letters of recommendation are to be sent directly by your referees.

Application Timeline for Erasmus Mundus MemBioMed Scholarship 2025

MemBioMed Erasmus Mundus Master's application is open on January 6, 2025.
The application deadline is April 6, 2025, at 11 PM Paris time.
Have availability in mid-February and mid-April for interviews.
Notification of selection comes at the end of April 2025.
Admitted students provide needed documents from April through June.
Get a head start on your visa process.
Reserve list students might be invited if places are available.
School starts in August 2025.

Selection and Admission Process

Three-Phase Selection
Eligibility check, preselection, and interview. Scholarships are distributed after selection.
The application platform screens basic requirements.
Three assessors grade each of the eligible applications (out of 100) on:
Scholarly record (40 marks).
CV and experience (30 marks).
Quality of cover letter (20 marks).
Recommendation letters (10 marks).
The highest ranked candidates asked for interviews.
20-minute video interview with a minimum of three assessors, evaluating:
Communication skills.
Program suitability.
Knowledge of biomembranes.
Motivation and career aspirations.
Following interviews, the committee compiles lists of scholarship awardees, successful applicants (no scholarship), and a waiting list.
