What are the benefits of EPFL Excellence Fellowships in Switzerland?

As the EPFL Excellence Fellowships in Switzerland is a Fully Funded Fellowship 2022 program in Switzerland. It has the following benefits as given below:

Students will be given financial assistance of CHF 16,000 per academic year to meet their financial expenses, however, transportation and traveling expenses will not be given. Fellowship holders will have to bear the expense of tickets and visa fees for this program.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for EPFL Excellence Fellowships?

The Application Criteria for the Fully Funded Fellowship Program under the "EPFL Excellence Fellowships" is very simple and clear. You just have to follow the following points to become eligible as follows

This fellowship program is open for all, so students of any nationality are eligible to apply for the EPFL Excellence Fellowships program.
Students who are considering applying must have good English Language skills because English is a required language for study at the university.
The students applying for the fellowship must keep in mind that the selection process is highly competitive so they should hold outstanding academic records and references.
Fellowship holders cannot step back after applying for the fellowship program; however, those who decide to defer or postpone their admission at EPFL will lose their excellence fellowship.
Students who already hold a Master’s degree, or equivalent, in the field (or similar field) of the program, are not eligible to apply; however, students holding a Bachelor’s degree from a university (or the equivalent) in the field offered by EPFL are eligible to apply for EPFL Masters Programs.
In case of Sickness and pregnancy of any fellowship holder and because of these reasons the holder is unable to continue to study and pass examinations, the excellence fellowship will be suspended. It will resume upon return if the requirements for renewal are met.

What Documents are Required for Apply?

Interested students must attach all the required documents along with the Application form, which includes:
Overseas students that are residing in Switzerland are required to submit residence permits.
Students should have a cover letter that should not exceed 1000 words that will explain their educational background and career plan.
Students have to provide educational documents i.e diplomas, certificates, transcripts from each university they have attended. If the student does not possess the documents at the time of application then they must submit them at the time of their arrival.
Students have to provide three references; Letters of recommendation from previous teachers, who are familiar with their work and abilities so that they can guarantee the credentials of students applying for the fellowship.

To apply for fellowship an admission letter and unconditional offer letter are necessary for students to obtain from the university.
Students need to provide their identity card or passport at the time of applications.

Application Deadline for EPFL Excellence Fellowship 2022

This is one of the best opportunities to pursue Master’s level study in Switzerland. Students who are interested in the EPFL Master Programs, make sure to apply before the closing date.
