What are the Financial Benefits of the New York Fellowship 2025 by the Asian Culture Council?

$35000 will be offered for six months.
Fellows are responsible for managing their grant and any personal finances to align with their project needs and New York City's high living costs.
Certain costs are deducted from the total grant before fellows receive it. After these deductions, fellows may receive between $15,580 and USD 16,630 upon arriving in New York, which is approximately $2,596 to $2,772 per month.

Deductions include:

Visa fee of $250.
$150-USD 200 for required travel health insurance.
Around $18000 will be given for accommodation.
While ACC will cover the above expenses directly, fellows must separately pay $185 for the DS-160 visa application, airfare, and other related costs.
Successful followers can borrow up to $3000 in advance before arriving in the USA.
