What are the eligibility criteria for KMU Scholarships 2026 in Taiwan?

The following is the breakdown of the educational requirements for each program:

1. You'll require a senior high school diploma from any school outside Taiwan, or any foreign/bilingual school in Taiwan.
2. Alternatively, any other document showing an equivalent level of education will suffice.
3. Just ensure that your diploma or document is certified by the Ministry of Education and authenticated by an R.O.C. representative office.
4. School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine, Master's, and Ph.D. Programs. For these schools, the basic requirement is a validated degree. But there is one exception if you've already studied in Taiwan as an international student.
5. For Post-Baccalaureate Medicine & Master's, You'll require a Bachelor's degree or above.
6. For Ph.D. A Master's degree or above is needed.
7. In either instance, your degree should be from an M.O.E.-recognised university or independent college and authenticated by an R.O.C. representative office.
8. If you studied previously under the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan you will also require a certification certifying that you were admitted through the International Students Admission Channel to a bachelor's degree program or higher.

Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarship and Admission Process

1. Go to the application site and select your preferred Undergraduate, Master's, or Ph.D. program. You can even apply for up to three programs.
2. First and foremost, though you'll need to sign up for an individual account online, no sign-up, no application.
3. Before you jump in, take a look at the Declaration and accept the terms carefully. Don't forget, if you don't fill out the required fields, your progress will not be saved!
4. Have all your documents ready that you need and upload them in time. If you're applying to the School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine, this is also when you submit your application fee.
5. Once you've completed your application forms, print them out, sign them, and then upload a scanned version.
6. For every program you apply for, ensure you have at least two referees lined up to endorse your application.
